It’s been a while since I’ve posted here. My apologies. We were consistent for a while and then fell off. I hope you’ll find this note to be well received.
The goal moving forward isn’t so much to post super consistently, but just as the Lord moves in us. I want to share something that hit me this morning.
In Proverbs, Chapter 14, there is a reminder to be patient in verses 8 and 29.
We say to our kids “think before you act” but as adults, that advice falls on deaf ears because we think we know even when we don’t. Or we think our gut is correct. Or we’re just mad and that somehow justifies our actions. It doesn’t.
The Bible is clear on that. When we act with wisdom and act with God’s perspectives, getting angry or acting out of haste is almost never the right decision. Processing what is in front of us and acting in accordance with God’s love is the right decision.
